About the Evening

Unmasking Health Disparities: A Masquerade for Equity & Impact

This year’s gala is an invitation to come together in both celebration and reflection. The masquerade theme speaks to something deeply real. In many communities, health challenges are often unseen or overlooked. Barriers to care can be hidden behind everyday life, leaving too many people without the support they need. “Unmasking Health Disparities” is about bringing those realities into the light with honesty, compassion, and purpose.

Throughout the evening, guests will gather for a black-tie experience filled with connection, storytelling, and shared commitment. We will honor Health Equity Champions whose work is making a meaningful difference, and we will reflect on the impact Metro continues to have across the communities we serve.

More importantly, the night is about people. It is about listening, understanding, and standing alongside one another to create change. Every story shared and every partnership formed helps move us closer to a future where everyone has access to quality, compassionate care.

Together, we are removing the masks by bringing awareness to hidden health challenges, revealing the need by lifting up the voices of our community, and advancing the mission by investing in a healthier future for all.
